Abed was raised and grew up in Dasmarinas with his parents and his older brother, Ahmed. His parents own a small internet café, which is located right next to Abed’s home https://gamerbook.net/swedes-want-taxes-from-online-gambling/. This resulted in a very early contact with computers and computer games. At the age of 3 Abed was already able to read and chat with other players while playing the first online game of his life: Gunbound At the age of 7 Abed discovered DotA and instantly became a fanatic about the game. Abed was always the youngest player amongst his playmates, who were usually twice his age. Nevertheless Abed managed to stay one of the top players among their group. One day Abed’s teacher at the elementary school asked everyone to write an essay about themselves. The young Abed did not have to think about it for a long time and instantly started writing about his ambition to be one of the best DotA players in the world. At only age 7, he already knew exactly, which direction his life should take. During these early days, Abed also played a lot of computer games like Counter-Strike or Ragnarok. However, when he entered the 6th grade he stopped playing computer games at the internet café and only used the computer to stay in touch with his friends via Facebook. Abed was always described as a friendly kid who did a lot of outdoor activities with his friends in their neighborhood. They would meet after school and play basketball or simply roam around the neighborhood. On top of that, Abed participated in some school activities, like basketball and academic competitions and was consistently in the Top 5 students from his pre-school through elementary school. The transfer to a new school in 2012 was one of the cornerstones of the gaming career for Abed. His new schoolmates invited Abed to play DotA with them – and they already played on a high level. Due to Abed's level of play he quickly became part of the local team and participated in his first local DotA tournament. At the age of 13, Mr. Yusop decided to give Abed his first personal computer. Not only to allow his son privacy while doing homework for school, but also to continue playing computer games. It was around this time, Abed migrated to DotA 2 and after only 3 months of having his own PC he was already one of the TOP 5 Players of DotA 2 in the South East Asia Leaderboard. Abed quickly became known as the pubstar with his signature heroes Meepo and Invoker. With his passion for DotA the time to study shrank and shrank… But his parents always reminded Abed to prioritize his studies over anything else. Abed’s father stated: “If he wants to continue playing DotA, he should learn to manage his time properly, be disciplined and responsible for himself.” Abed took this mindset very serious and only played after school and on the weekends. He continued to be a responsible student and try hard to manage his time and play Dota. It was at this time, Abed parents realized, that DotA 2 can change the life of their son and could be the career path for him. “We saw how serious he was playing DotA. We believed that he had a strong potential because of his skills, determination and discipline.” His father used to sit behind him and watch him play even though he did not understand anything about DotA at that point.

Number 2: The Trump University Trump University started with online courses that would supposedly give its students the secrets behind successful real estate development. It quickly evolved into live-seminars that boasted about teaching people ‘how to get rich’. Although the initial three days seminars were free, many students were persuaded to take ‘mentorship classes’ for which they would pay up to $35,000.
They were even encouraged to go into debt in order to pay for the Elite programs. Students were told that the instructors had been personally selected by Donald Trump and that the businessman himself would make appearances. They soon found that what the ‘university’ had promised and what it delivered were two different things. Trump never made an appearance, and even though the university initially had some prestigious teachers, the quality of the teaching staff rapidly deteriorated. It quickly became obvious that the organization was closer to a scam than an actual educational institution https://uscasinosguide.com/online-casino-for-usa-players/. Ronald Schnackenberg, a former salesman for Trump University stated “Based upon my personal experience and employment, I believe that Trump University was a fraudulent scheme, and that it preyed upon the elderly and uneducated to separate them from their money.” Any positive reviews received by the school were determined to have been given under pressure. Trump University also offered graduate programs, post graduate programs and even doctorate programs. The ‘university’ was in fact in direct violation of New York law for operating without an educational license. Trump was sued by the city of New York for cheating students out of 40 million dollars. He also had two class action lawsuits in California. The school was closed in 2010 but the lawsuits are still ongoing. Number 1: Mafia Ties In the 80’s most of the concrete businesses in New York were controlled by organized crime. Many would argue that a man in Trump’s position, involved in construction and the casino business, would inevitably brush shoulders with members of such organizations. ‘In the meantime, I was a builder. I was never going to run for office.… I’d go by the lowest bid and I’d go by their track record, but I didn’t do a personal history of who they are’ he said. Although Trump has denied being deliberately involved with the Mafia, the evidence gathered from investigative journalists and through testimonies seems to dictate the opposite. Kenneth Shapiro was the partial owner of a site in Atlantic City, who Trump negotiated with when he was planning to build his first casino. Law enforcement described Shapiro as being an agent of Philadelphia mob boss Nicodemo “Little Nicky” Scarfo. Shapiro testified in front of a federal grand jury to giving the then Atlantic City mayor, Michael J. Matthews political contributions on Trump’s behalf. These contributions were meant to sway zoning permits and signs in Trump’s favor. A co-owner of the site was Dan Sullivan, whom many suspected had been behind the murder of Jimmy Hoffa. He had a lengthy criminal record and numerous ties to organized crime. Trump reportedly used him as a New York City labor consultant. In a 2005 interview, Trump admitted knowing full well that both men were involved with the Mafia, saying about Shapiro “He was like a third-rate, local, real estate mob guy. Nothing spectacular. And I, you know, I got lucky. I heard a rumor that Sullivan, because Sullivan was a great con man, I heard a rumor that Sullivan killed Jimmy Hoffa.” In a 2007 deposition Trump denied having ever been associated with members of organized crime which would make the businessman guilty of lying under oath. Trump Tower was also allegedly built by using concrete owned by the infamous Castellano family and Mafia chieftain Anthony ‘Fat Tony’ Salerno. Robert LiButti, a high stakes gambler and a renowned horse breeder, with ties to crime boss John Gotti was also among Trump’s reported mob connections. His casino was fined $450,000 dollars for giving LiButti nine luxury cars which were quickly converted to cash. Former president of the Trump Plaza casino, John O’Donnell described a 1988 meeting between LiButti and Trump. The meeting took place aboard Trump’s private helicopter and it involved negotiations over the acquisition of a $500,000 racehorse. Upon learning that Trump had feelings for his daughter, Libutti allegedly threatened him ‘Donald, I'll fucking pull your balls from your legs.’ On two separate occasions, Trump both admitted and denied having known who Libutti was. Edith Creamer, Libutti’s daughter told Yahoo News "He's a liar, of course he knew him. I flew in the [Trump] helicopter with [Trump's then-wife] Ivana and the kids. My dad flew it up and down [to Atlantic City]. My 35th birthday party was at the Plaza and Donald was there. Former female contestants on Trump’s show ‘The Apprentice’ have also accused him of demoralizing treatment and sexism. He said in his trump tape scandal ‘All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.’ Jill Harth was running the American Dream pageant together with George Houraney when they met with Donald Trump in 1992, to discuss his possible involvement in the organization.
According to Harth, Trump immediately started making passes at her. After the pageant she sued him for sexual misbehavior. On one occasion Trump allegedly groped Harth at party. Another time he forced her into a bedroom and made a pass at her. Ivana, Trump’s ex-wife, suggested at one point that he had raped Harth although she later recanted the statement. After the tape incident more women started to come forward, accusing Trump of groping them or other forms of harassment. Number 4: Tenant Intimidation In 1981, Donald Trump acquired a building on Central Park South for $13 million with the intention of tearing it down and building a luxury apartment complex that would face Central Park. Before he could do any of that, he had to evict the tenants that were already living in the 15-story building and paying rent below market level. State laws limited how much their rent would be increased and guaranteed that they, and many times their children and grandchildren, had a place to stay. When they refused to leave, a David versus Goliath battle started between the small group of tenants and Donald Trump. Instead of buying the tenants out, which was a common practice in such situations, Trump resorted to more unconventional tactics. Leaks were not fixed, appliances were not repaired and people who had made construction modifications in their apartments were given ten days to restore the place to its original condition. A number of eviction notices were left for tenants on unfounded grounds. Some of them were accused of not having paid their rent, which was not the case. Aluminum foil was placed on the windows of empty units in order to give the building a derelict appearance. The battle continued for five years. At one point during this time, Trump attempted to offer the empty units in the building as free homeless shelters. When the city declined his offer, arguing that moving people into a building that was heading for demolition made no sense, he stated ‘I actually thought it was a very generous offer, I don’t want to see people out on the streets.’ In 1986, Trump gave up on his plans and the tenants were allowed to stay in their apartments and pay the same rent. Number 3: Undocumented Workers Before construction on Trump Tower could begin, the Bonwit Teller store, an Art Deco edifice which was widely appreciated for its architecture, had to be demolished. The 200 undocumented Polish workers that were hired for the job were paid the substandard wage of $5 per hour for backbreaking work. Sometimes they were not paid at all. They were not wearing the required safety equipment and most of them had often slept at the site. When they tried to complain about their inhumane working conditions, they were threatened with deportation. Despite Trump’s claim of being unaware of the situation, in 1991, a federal judge found him and other defendants guilty of avoiding to pay union pension and welfare contributions for the workers. This situation seems to contradict the iron-clad position on illegal immigration expressed by Trump in many of his 2016 campaign speeches. Donald Trump: the ultimate billionaire business mogul. But behind all the success, there lie many skeletons in his closet. Here we present to you 6 dangerous Donald Trump scandals...is this man truly fit for becoming the next U.S. president? Number 6: Racism Some of the statements Trump made during his presidential campaign launch have been described as overtly racist. He expressed an intention to build a ‘great wall’ along the US – Mexican border. He believed that building the wall would reduce the number of illegal immigrants into the United States.
‘When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.’ Although the statement prompted numerous negative reactions it also generated a lot of support for Trump’s cause and the wall became a major focus point in his campaign. However, this was not Trump’s first account of racist behavior. In 1973 the Trump and his father were charged by the Department of Justice for violation of 1968 Civil Rights Act which enabled people of color to share in the same housing rights as the white majority. An investigation showed that minority tenants were either denied the right to rent Trump properties or directed to other Trump development areas which were placed in less white areas. The Trump Management Corporation settled the suit without an admission of guilt. Number 5: Sexism & Sexual Assault Donald Trump has never made any consistent efforts to hide his sexism, as was seen in the leaked hot mic scandal. A video recording of a 2005 conversation between him and Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush has recently been released. The leaked hot mic conversation takes place off camera and the statements that he makes would severely damage his presidential campaign. It cost him the support of several Republican politicians. Aside from expressing the lack of a moral dilemma in his pursuit of a married woman, Trump also states in his trump tape scandal that fame had enabled him to conduct himself however he wanted around women. ‘I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything…Grab ‘em by the pussy. You can do it anything.’ Although many were completely outraged by his words, others considered the behavior to be typical of Trump. For more than two decades Trump owned the Miss Universe Organization. Many reports find Trump routinely walking into girls’ dressing rooms, catching them in various states of undress. Even though most the women felt uncomfortable, Trump explained in an interview that it was his right to do so. ‘I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant. And therefore I'm inspecting it...Is everyone OK? You know, they're standing there with no clothes. And you see these incredible-looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that’. Another common practice of his was to ask contestants to rate each other on who was more attractive, which many of them found to be very demeaning. Trump would also make frequent remarks on how attractive his daughter Ivanka was and that if she weren’t his daughter, he would date her. Hello, and welcome back to one day of poker. It's April 14th 2011 and Phil Ivey finishes his latest session of poker. His total winnings on Full Tilt are almost at the $20M mark, making him by far the biggest winner in online history…. but things are about to change.
Phil Ivey’s love affair with online poker started in 2007 – during a time when he was already being hailed as world’s best, with 5 WSOP bracelets to his name at a relatively young age. The online poker boom was only just kicking off, and in November of that year, he was offered an amazing opportunity – He received equity in the fast growing company Full Tilt Poker and became one of their sponsored pros. In that first year, Ivey won $2M on Full Tilt http://oncasinogames.com/canada/the-boku-casinos/. His 2008 is even better, as he adds more than $7M to his online bankroll, before winning a further $6M in 2009. Another $2.2M follows in 2010, and while Ivey is happy to play against dangerous opponents such as Tom Dwan and Patrick Antonius, much of his winnings probably come from Guy Laliberte, who lost $25M online as described in one of our earlier videos. What was unknown at the time, was that Ivey, and other sponsored pros had an unlimited amount of financial support on offer if they needed it, with Full Tilt offering lines of credit, while paying sponsored pros a salary too. Ivey was paid $920,000 per month for being a sponsored pro. Black Friday was the day when everything changed. On April 15th the U.S Department of Justice unsealed a 52 page indictment against top executives at Pokerstars, Full Tilt and Absolute Poker, as well as a civil complaint against those companies. This action brought Full Tilt’s activities to an end in the U.S but also unveiled a huge management scandal in the company. Player funds were not kept separate from company funds, and some sponsored pros were millions in debt to Full Tilt. The company was unable to pay back all of the players who had entrusted their money to the company, and many people lost their bankroll. As a sponsored pro and a shareholder in the company, Phil Ivey’s reputation was damaged by the scandal, and he responded by not showing up at the WSOP that year – a gesture of solidarity with those who were not able to play because of their bankrolls being lost on Full Tilt. He also sued Full Tilt for $150M, with the figure set to reduce if Full Tilt could start paying back lost bankrolls. Phil Ivey’s actions were a step in the right direction, but were not strong enough according to many. Andrew Robl pointed this out when he said “Phil Ivey is one of the primary equity holders of Full Tilt and has profited off their business more than almost anyone - If he really cared about the players he would pledge to return every cent of the MILLIONS of dollars he's made from Full Tilt to the players”. Interestingly, Tom Dwan, who was not a shareholder and was simply a sponsored pro pledged that if player funds were never repaid, he would use all the money he had made on Full Tilt to reimburse players. Ivey’s online path following Black Friday has shifted too. Playing under the name ‘Polarizing’ once Full Tilt reopened under new ownership, he lost 6.4M, and under the name ‘raiseonce’ on Pokerstars, he dropped $2.4M. He has not been seen online since 2015. If you would like to hear more about Phil Ivey, we have compiled 8 untold stories about him in an article. There is no better place to have a party than Las Vegas but it is not the sort of place where you can just show up and start partying. Since there are so many other people doing the same thing you need to makes sure that you plan ahead so that you will be able to get into the places that you want to be for your party.
Probably the most important tip that you will get for planning a party in Las Vegas is that you really do have to make sure that you plan ahead. There is no greater city in which to have a party and as a result there are thousands of people doing just that every day in Las Vegas. This means that it can be hard for a group of people to get into a nightclub or a table at a restaurant without booking ahead. Another important tip if you are planning a party in Las Vegas is to make sure that you actually stick to your plan. The big thing here is to make sure that you show up on time for the places that you are scheduled to be. There is a huge demand for things like limos, and nightclubs in Vegas and if you aren't there when you are supposed to be they won't hold your reservation they will just move on to the next group that needs their services. Nothing ruins a party faster than having your plans fall apart so make sure that you get where you need to be on time. In general when you are planning a party in Las Vegas you will find that it goes better if you have one person who is in charge of making those plans. This person should be the one that makes all of the reservations so that they know where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be there so that he can make sure that everybody arrives on time. It is also a good idea to set a budget for the party beforehand and then have everybody contribute and let this one person hold the money and pay for everything with one credit card. This will avoid nasty surprises and make the whole process a lot simpler. The last tip for planning a Vegas party is to decide how wild you want it to get ahead of time. Las Vegas is the kind of city where a party can get out of hand really quickly if you allow it to so you should try to make sure that this doesn't happen, that is if you don't want it to happen. The last thing that you want is to do something that you regret during your party so make sure that you plan it at a level of wildness that is appropriate.
